Forestry Commission Resources for Learning

Image

The Forestry Commission Learning teams have been developing downloadable resources for teachers and other leaders to use in forests. They have information about trees and forests and most of them indicate links to the National Curriculum. There’s a whole range of activity ideas for self-led visits and links to some detailed resources on climate change.

Schools and other organisations using the New Forest for learning can access them at www.forestry.gov.uk/england-learning by using the link and clicking on activity downloads. Further resources are available on www.forestry.gov.uk/aliceholt-learning and clicking on learning resources. Some of them refer to Alice Holt Forest but they’re all ideal for use in the New Forest.
